It’s 50 days until summer. You told yourself you’d be skinny this time. You’d be beautiful this time. Well, summer’s right around the corner. I know it’s hard to stay strong but please, keep going. You told yourself you’d be skinny by last year, don’t let this summer be the same. Don’t let that cycle keep repeating. This is horrible. Once you lose enough weight you don’t wear small clothes and get compliments. People stare at your skeletal body, worried about your health. You’ll not want to leave the house because you feel gross, and nothing will look good on you. You won’t feel like a ‘bone goddess’ or anything like that. You’ll hate yourself, and even worse? You’ll have no idea what you look like or how sick you truly are. Something as basic and necessary as eating becomes a fear, it becomes numbers and you won’t be able to stomach anything. Every thought will be about food, weight, full of body checking and insecurity. You do not want this, not ever. This is horrible.

My friend whos away working a new job until the summer told me she is a lot more physically active and now can see her hipbones. She also said her arms have slimmed out and I’m happy for her and so fucking jealous at the same time I need to lose more weight before I see her this summer. Every time I want to eat I just need to think about how easily she loses weight and looks better than me all the time.
